After graduating law school, Jonathan Williams moved to Nashville with his fiance to take the Tennessee Bar.  After passing the Bar on his first attempt, Jonathan began practicing criminal defense here in Davidson County.  He dedicates all of his professional time, focus and energy on representing those charged with alleged crimes or violations of the law.

Although he is a young lawyer Jonathan has logged more hours in the courtroom than many lawyers will spend in an entire career. Jonathan's drive and passion to defend individuals and the Constitution began in law school where attended Cumberland School of Law, an institution specializing in Trial Advocacy.  At Cumberland, Jonathan served as the Articles Editor & Associate Student Materials Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy.  He took classes focused on trial advocacy, evidence and criminal defense, competed in and judged numerous trial advocacy competitions, made the Dean's List every semester, and finished in the top thirty-nine percentile of his graduating class.

Jonathan brings an energetic and determined attack and is no stranger to hard or difficult times in court.  Although aggressive and tough when needed Jonathan has also developed a rapport with many of the assistant district attorneys.  His approachable and likable demeanor serves him and his client well when negotiations can mean the difference between a good out come or bad out come on a case. A dedicated and persistent legal defense is a must in the criminal justice system.  Jonathan understands and appreciates this need.  He continually researches and follows develops in the law to better improve the defense of his clients.  Jonathan is as aggressive as he is approachable.  There will never be a situation where Jonathan is not prepared and equipped to execute the job at hand.
